Employees Compensation

I feel like my staff is overly focused on compensation, bonuses, and the next increase.    They only see what comes in on a daily basis, but are unaware of the outgo. They think I’m Dr. Moneybags!  Now my accountant has said my overhead is too high. What can I do?

Insurance: Should I stay or should I go?

I am an in-network provider for several insurance companies. It just doesn’t seem like they pay well enough on many procedures. It’s frustrating!  Should I get rid of my contracts with insurance companies so I can charge my UCR fees and do the kind of dentistry I want to do?

Before Firing your Patients...

A good majority of my patients think nothing of arriving 10 minutes late and still expect to be seen.  Some even tell me that they have to be “out’ by a certain time.  What can be done?
